More than 250 guests gathered in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania on March 1 for an anniversary banquet as Philadelphia Plast celebrated 75 years of service at the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center. It was a memorable event that brought together Plast members of different generations, friends of the organisation and honoured guests.

"The 75th Anniversary Dance and Banquet was a truly magical evening filled with joy, nostalgia and an incredible sense of community. More than 250 friends from near and far came together to celebrate 75 years of Plast in Philadelphia," said Plast Philadelphia.
The festive programme was opened by Philadelphia Plast Chair Christina Brozyna, who welcomed the audience and introduced the evening's emcee, Roman Hryciw. He took the guests through key moments in the organisation's 75-year history, highlighting its contribution to the education of Ukrainian youth.
During the event, Archbishop-Metropolitan Borys Gudziak received one of Plast's highest honours. In his speech, he shared his words of support and hope for the future of the Ukrainian community.
The stage was also filled with real theatre magic. Young Plast members presented a moving performance of "A Magic Dream" written and directed by Zenia Brozyna.Zenia Brozyna).
Greetings from all over the world could be heard on the stage: Plast leaders from different countries spoke and expressed their gratitude and support.
After the official part, a dance evening began with live traditional Ukrainian music performed by the Soloway ensemble. Reunions of old friends, shared memories and incredible energy made this evening a true celebration of Ukrainian generations.
Plast Philadelphia continues its mission of educating the younger generation and preserving Ukrainian traditions.
