A number of Ukrainian organizations in the United States have called on the U.S. government to immediately resume deliveries of air defense systems and precision weaponry to Ukraine. The appeal follows reports of a possible reduction in Pentagon support, which has raised alarm among experts and civil society.
Razom for Ukraine stated that such actions by the Pentagon undermine President Donald Trump’s efforts to achieve peace and contradict his declared willingness to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
Their statement emphasized that cutting aid would lead to increased civilian casualties and embolden russian leadership. The organization urged President Trump to reverse the decision and send additional air defense systems.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) appealed to Ukrainians in the U.S. to demand urgent action from their congressional representatives. The message stressed the importance of informing lawmakers that withdrawing support from Ukraine could influence voters’ decisions in the 2026 elections.
UCCA also circulated a message from the American Coalition for Ukraineconfirming the suspension of shipments to Ukraine of Patriot missiles, GMLRS, Hellfire, and artillery shells.
According to the initiators of the appeal, such a pause is unacceptable amid intensified russian attacks and must be immediately reversed.
