In San Francisco, an international networking event UAtech Venture Night was held, dedicated to the development of Ukrainian startups and strengthening their ties with American investors. The event was held as part of TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 – one of the world’s most famous platforms for presenting technological innovations.

Opening the meeting, Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco Dmytro Kushneruk emphasized the peculiarities of the Ukrainian entrepreneurial spirit.
“Ukrainians in Silicon Valley are distinguished not only by their knowledge or skills. It’s a mindset – discipline born of challenge, optimism born of adversity, and determination to prove that great ideas can emerge from a country at war and conquer global markets,” he said.
UAtech Venture Night was part of the global UAtech World Series, which brings together startups, investors, and technology leaders across continents. This time, the event focused on international entrepreneurship and Ukrainian innovations that are increasingly integrated into the global technology space.
The event also featured a Startup Open Pitch Competition, during which startup founders from different countries had just 2.5 minutes to pitch their ideas to investors.
The competition resulted in three winners: the best startup, the best Ukrainian startup, and the best female founder. The winners each received $25,000 in AWS credits and access to business development tools from partners Spendbase, Reply.io, and TextMe Accounting.
The expert panel included international industry leaders: Nick Bilogorsky, Managing Partner of Dnipro VC, former META and Google specialist; Joan Fedeyko, Founder of the Canadian Women’s Network; Alyona Mysko, CEO of the financial platform Fuelfinance; and Chancey Wang, Founder of the venture fund Rain Capital. The moderator was Bilogorsky, who is also a co-founder of the Nova Ukraine organization.
UAtech Venture Night ended with a networking session, where Ukrainian entrepreneurs, American investors, and technology experts discussed joint projects and development opportunities.
According to the organizers, the main goal of the UAtech series is to support Ukrainian founders who, despite the war, continue to create innovative products and represent Ukraine on the global tech scene.
In 2025, UAtech has already held events in Vancouver, Paris, and Toronto, bringing together over 600 startup founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders. The initiative is led by Volodymyr Demyanenko, an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector.
