Protez Foundation Annual Fundraiser in Minnesota Gathers Friends and Support for Ukrainian Heroes

The Protez Foundation Annual Fundraiser 2025 was held in Oakdale, Minnesota, an annual fundraiser that brought together veterans, diplomats, volunteers, artists, and donors for a common goal: to raise $200,000 for prosthetics and rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainians.

This was reported by the Protez Foundation.

The event was attended by Ukrainian veterans currently undergoing treatment at the Foundation’s clinic, as well as numerous partners, volunteers, and patrons. The goal of the event was not only to raise $200,000 for the implementation of the Foundation’s initiatives, but also to summarize the achievements and deepen the impact of the Protez Foundation in the coming years.

In particular, over the three years of its operation, since May 2022, the Protez Foundation has achieved results that have become a symbol of hope for thousands of Ukrainians. As reported, the Foundation has provided over 1,600 Ukrainians with high-quality prostheses, opened three modern clinics – in Oakdale (USA), Svaliava and Kyiv (Ukraine), and trained over 100 specialists within the framework of the Protez Academy program.

It was also noted that as part of the regional visit to Minnesota, representatives of the Consulates General of Ukraine in the USA also participated in the event. Thus, during his speech, the Consul General of Ukraine in Chicago Serhiy Koledov congratulated the Foundation on its incredible work over the past 3 years and called on those present to continue assisting the Foundation in its mission.

The evening began with the performance of the American and Ukrainian national anthems performed by singer Victoria Kantor.

“Standing next to real heroes – people who have gone through incredible trials and yet continue to shine with strength, courage and love for life – is incredibly moving and inspiring. Thank you Protez Foundation for your amazing work, compassion, and tireless dedication to those who defend freedom and dignity. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful and emotional day – to sing, honor, and feel the unbreakable bond between our two nations,” the artist shared on social media.

The event also included thanks to the organizers – Yuri Aroshidze, Yakov Gradinar, and the entire Protez Foundation team – for their impeccable organization of the event and their continued commitment to the mission of helping Ukrainian defenders.

During the charity evening, guests were able to join a cocktail hour and a Ukrainian buffet dinner, chat with veterans undergoing prosthetics, learn about the Foundation’s key achievements, and participate in live and silent auctions.
