C UKRAINE Cultural Showcase, a temporary cultural space offering a direct introduction to Ukrainian culture, contemporary creative industries, innovation, and community, has opened in downtown San Francisco. The opening brought together artists, designers, families, volunteers, and representatives of the Ukrainian community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
This was reported by Nova Ukraine.

During the opening, the space was visited by San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, who toured the exhibition and spoke with participants and organizers of the event. The evening united representatives of different generations — artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and friends of Ukraine — who joined the event to maintain a connection with Ukrainian culture.
The organizers emphasize that creating such a space is especially significant amid Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine:
“At a time when Ukraine’s culture and identity are under attack, the C UKRAINE pop-up space shows the resilience and creativity of the Ukrainian people. We are glad to be part of the community and to share what makes Ukraine special,” they noted during the opening.
“In dark times, creating and spreading light is an act of courage and, at the same time, an act of resistance. Even while Russia’s full-scale invasion continues, Ukrainian artists, designers, innovators, and entrepreneurs keep building, dreaming, and creating,” the project description states. Their work, the organizers add, is gaining international recognition not only for its aesthetics, but also for the spirit it carries — resilience, dignity, creativity, and hope.
The event was organized by the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco. The charitable partner was the United24 platform. The project’s visual identity was developed by Fedoriv Agency, the curation of Ukrainian brands was provided by CODE380, and technical support for the events was delivered by Podiya Entertainment. Sponsors included Allrise Capital Inc, GOORT, OVN, LLC, and Meest USA West. The list of community partners also featured Ukrainian organizations and initiatives from the region.
