In a March 2022 Reuters Schaumburg, Illinois, a large report concert of the vocal studio "Elegy" was held, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the creative team under the leadership of Svitlana Polyak. The anniversary program brought together young vocalists, dance groups, guests from Ukraine and representatives of the Ukrainian community.

As reported, the anniversary concert brought together in the hall both current members of the team and the first students of the studio, who, together with the leader Svitlana Polyak, began the creative history of "Elegy" ten years ago. Four ensembles of the studio performed on stage – “Melody”, “Smile”, “NG girls” and “Music Maze”, as well as soloists Matviy Dumka, Mila Yuzvik, Ilona Zymak, Ksenia Levkovych, Viktoria Klyuchenko and Katya Semko.
It was also noted that the concert program combined vocals, choreography, video clips and ethnic motifs. The pupils of the “UK dance studio” under the leadership of Vita and Yegor Polyakov supplemented their performances with dance performances, and the pupils of the “StarKids” modeling school took to the stage in authentic outfits from the collection of Roksolana Prokopiv.
“The concert demonstrated the power of family unity, family creativity and support. A story about the continuity of generations, about the love of art and a common dream that unites hearts was demonstrated,” the material emphasizes.
According to the organizers, the concert also featured special guests – rock singer Neriyus, the band “Trioda” and singer Sasha Tab, a member of the “Kalush Orchestra”. Separately, Ukrainian military personnel undergoing treatment in the USA were honored.
The final culmination of the concert was the performance of Ukrainian kolomyyok together with the dance school “Vyshyvanka” under the direction of Pavlo and Oksana Fedkivykh. The young performers, most of whom were born in America, demonstrated a deep connection with Ukrainian culture and traditions.
“Ukrainian roots do their job, so the tree of the Ukrainian family tree holds on, grows, and amazes with its beauty,” the organizers summarized.
