In Parma (USA), in the Parish of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Eparchy of St. Josaphat, the camp "Fun Holidays with God" ended. The camp was attended by 207 children from local parishes. This was reported by the press service of the diocese.
The program of the camp included liturgies, workshops, games, dances and Christian cartoons. Bishop Bohdan Danylo celebrated one of the liturgies and shared with the children the testimony of God's presence. The children of the older groups walked the path of the All-American Youth Pilgrimage, while the younger ones participated in various activities.
The camp ended with a joint Divine Liturgy for children and parents. Fr. Bohdan Nasypanyi urged parents to take care of the spiritual formation of their children and to preserve the national identity.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all those who helped in the preparation and implementation of the camp and hope to meet again next year.
"We thank Bishop Bohdan Danylo for his blessing, support and presence among us. We thank the parish priest of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fr. Mykhailo Drozdovsky, for his ministry during the services. We are especially grateful to all those who prepared delicious lunches and snacks for the children. We thank the volunteers who prepared the parish grounds for the "Fun with God" holiday. May God bless everyone and give us the opportunity to meet again next year!", the organizers wished.
