In New York, a rally in support of Ukraine was held in Times Square to mark 900 days since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the event, Ukrainians with flags and placards demanded even more protection for Ukraine. This was reported by Svitanok.nyc.
The organizers explained that the Ukrainians were appealing to the international community, stressing the need to give the Ukrainian military permission to strike strategic targets in Russia.
"We need permission to attack strategic targets deep inside Russia. This is necessary to protect ourselves from constant attacks, prevent civilian deaths, preserve cultural heritage and save our country", the organizers said.
