The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is helping Ukrainian power engineers restore electricity to Ukraine. This time the organization provided the necessary electrical equipment for Mykolaiv and Sumy.
This was reported by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink in X.
"We are helping to restore power after Russia's barbaric attacks" , she said.
According to her, thanks to USAID's support, power engineers have been able to restore electricity to 27,500 people.
The agency provided two transformers for Sumy and 42 more for Mykolaiv.
Previously USAID had purchased 18 autotransformers to support the Ukrainian grid.
