The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has purchased 18 autotransformers to support Ukraine's power grid and plans to continue purchasing.
"While Russia is cold-bloodedly trying to destroy Ukraine's power grid, we are determined to restore it. I'm proud that USAID has procured 18 autotransformers, and that's not all. These actions will help preserve Ukraine's power grid despite Russia's attacks and provide electricity to 38 million Ukrainians", wrote U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
