Ukrainians in Chicago demonstrated outside the arena where the Democratic National Convention was being held, demanding that political leaders be more active in supporting Ukraine. The protesters called for concrete actions and strategic steps to ensure Ukraine's victory.

Protest organizers thanked democratic leaders for their support of Kyiv, but stressed that this is not enough. They noted that despite general statements of support, real action is not enough to ensure Ukraine's victory.
"During the congress, Ukraine was mentioned only once and without any concrete steps. We need not only words, but real actions and strategies", the organizers said.
They also noted that events in Ukraine are not sufficiently covered in the American press.
