President of the United States, Joe Biden, concluded his visit to Germany. In Berlin, he met with the Chancellor of Germany and held talks with leaders of the G4. Ukraine was undoubtedly one of the leading topics. Further support was discussed.
This was reported in a briefing by Voice of America
"America and Germany are the two countries that support Ukraine the most in its fight for survival as a free and independent nation. As Ukraine faces a difficult winter, we must maintain our resolve and support. I also want to commend Germany's decision to spend 2% of your GDP on defense; please continue this, as it is important".
Також у своїй промові Байден підтримав рішення Німеччини витрачати 2% ВВП на оборону, а також підкреслив, що союзницькі відносини США й Німеччини є глобальними та виходять далеко за межі України та Європи.
"I am grateful for Germany's cooperation in holding Iran accountable for its destabilizing policies, particularly for providing missiles and drones to Russia for use against Ukraine," added the White House leader.
