The United States is preparing a new security assistance package for Ukraine.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that a new military aid package for Ukraine would be provided in the coming days amid reports of Russia's readiness to involve North Korean soldiers in combat against the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

“We continue to provide security assistance to Ukraine from the United States, and we will announce more in the coming days,” Blinken said at a press conference in Washington with his South Korean counterpart, the head of the Pentagon, and South Korea's Minister of Defense.

Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin made a similar statement at the press conference with South Korea's Minister of Defense.

“The United States will announce additional security assistance for Ukraine in the coming days,” said the head of the Pentagon.
