In a March 2022 Reuters місті Нью-Брітен, штат Коннектикут, на території Греко-Православної Церкви Святого Георгія відбувся яскравий захід – традиційні “Вишивані Вечорниці”, організований товариством “Краяни”. Цей вечір об’єднав українську громаду та друзів України, наповнивши залу національним колоритом та атмосферою єдності.

The organizers prepared a wonderful concert. That evening, the guests enjoyed the music of the ensemble "Brothers from Prykarpattia" and the performance of the choir "Lanka-Halychanka", which created an unforgettable atmosphere with folk songs and melodies.
One of the peculiarities of the evening was the traditional embroidery contest, where the participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their national costumes and embroidered dresses. The audience also tasted Cossack delicacies, enjoyed aromatic coffee and delicious sweets.
The evening was not only a cultural event, but also a platform to support Ukraine. An auction was held with the proceeds going to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
