UNWLA held a charity event titled "Oh My Songs" in Philadelphia 

The event, organized by UNWLA Branch 128, aimed to support Ukrainian female defenders and newborns. The main guest was the renowned singer and actress from the Les Kurbas Lviv Academic Theater, Mariia Oneshchak 

This was reported by UNWLA, Branch 128, Philadelphia, PA - Ukrainian National Women's League of America.

Mariia Oneshchak led a singing and acting workshop featuring Boyko, Lemko, and Hutsul songs, held in the "Cheremosh" room at the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Center.

The event was open to the public, and voluntary donations were planned to support Ukrainian soldiers. 

Mariia Oneshchak, a voice and speech coach known for her singing mastery, captivated the audience with her emotional performances and professional approach to traditional Ukrainian songs. Oneshchak is also a distinguished performer at the Les Kurbas Lviv Academic Theater, a leader of singing intensives, a singer, a co-founder of the Kurbasa Ensemble, and a psychologist

"The singing gathering with Ukrainians in Philadelphia was unforgettable! We sang our hearts out to Boyko, Lemko, and Hutsul songs! Joy and sorrow intertwined in our songs, and we are proud to be descendants of such a strong and creative people; our folk songs, through centuries, endow us with a vital spark that unites us. Ukraine is Invincible!” Mariia Oneshchak shared her impressions of the event on Facebook .

Additionally, she thanked the UNWLA Branch 128 in Philadelphia for organizing the event and noted that they managed to raise $1,026 for the "Mommy & Baby" project under Marianna Mamonova’s Charity Foundation, aimed at supporting newborns and the wives of servicemen.
