The American Coalition for Ukraine remains committed to advocating for restoring peace in Ukraine. After years of brutal Russian attacks and occupation, all Ukrainian people deserve a just and lasting peace. We believe that to reach this goal there must be security guarantees for Ukraine, respected sovereign borders, and the inclusion of Europe and Ukraine in any negotiations.
We firmly believe that it is in the United States’ national interest to see Ukraine take up its role in the American-led security architecture. Ukraine’s 800,000-strong armed forces are the largest land army in Europe trained in modern warfare and would significantly strength the alliance. With Ukraine contributing as a NATO member, the United States can allocate its forces and resources more effectively, pivoting its strategic focus.
The combined strength of Ukraine and European NATO members will ensure that Russia cannot launch further invasions, securing long-term stability in the region and weakening the anti-American axis of Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.
The American Coalition for Ukraine stands firmly for sustained support of Ukraine’s ability to defend its freedom, to reinstate internationally recognized borders, and to protect its people—including those in occupied territories—from trafficking, the forced re-education of children, abuse, and religious persecution inflicted by the Russian state.
Full integration of Ukraine into the Western security alliance serves all of these goals — guaranteeing long-term security in Ukraine and furthering America’s strength and interests.
