In Washington, D.C., a meeting took place at Ukraine House with new participants of the "Open World" program to strengthen ties between Ukrainian and American organizations. The group includes representatives of local and regional authorities, civil society organizations, cultural and educational sectors, as well as specialists in veteran support.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S., Oksana Markarova, welcomed the delegation, wishing them a successful program and engaging meetings.
"They will travel to four U.S. cities depending on their field of work: cultural heritage preservation in Albuquerque, New Mexico; community resilience in Paradise, California; conflict resolution in Washington, Pennsylvania; and veteran reintegration in Detroit, Michigan," Markarova said.
The program is aimed at strengthening connections between Ukrainian and American organizations. Ukraine House emphasized that this exchange will help Ukrainian professionals adopt best practices and deepen cooperation between the two countries.
The visit of Ukrainian organizations to the U.S. is organized with the support of the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL), which facilitates international exchanges and strengthens partnerships between Ukraine and the U.S.

Their commitment allows Ukrainian experts to learn best practices, share experiences, and enhance collaboration between our nations," added Ukraine House.
The Open World Program is a professional exchange initiative that provides leaders from Ukraine and other countries with the opportunity to learn from the U.S. experience in various fields, including public administration, civil society, education, culture, and veteran support.
The program was established by the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) and is funded by the U.S. Congress. It aims to develop democratic institutions, improve governance, and strengthen ties between Ukraine and the United States.
