The "Defend American Values - Stand With Ukraine" rally in support of Ukraine was held at the Minnesota State Capitol. The event gathered hundreds of participants, including representatives of the Ukrainian community and Americans who support the defense of democracy and international law and order.

Due to weather conditions, the rally was moved to the Capitol Rotunda, where activists, politicians, and representatives of civil society organizations called for continued support for Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression.
Organizers of the event emphasized that cutting off aid to Ukraine could have global consequences.
"Peace is only possible when justice prevails. The sacrifice of the Ukrainian people will not satisfy Russia's ambitions," the statement said.
Participants in the rally held Ukrainian and American flags, as well as placards with slogans such as "Defend Freedom," "Stand With Ukraine," and "We Support Democracy and Ukraine.
An important part of the event was the presence of Ukrainian veterans who are undergoing rehabilitation in the United States.
One of the participants of the rally, Serhiy Shevtsov, emphasized the importance of such actions to influence political decisions in the United States.
"The rally in support of Ukraine at the State Building, the heart of Minnesota, is a very important event in our city. A call for support, pressure on the political system, and a big thank you to the American people, who were the majority at the rally! Let's continue!" Shevtsov said.
The organizers of the rally emphasized that Ukraine is now fighting not only for its independence, but also to defend the fundamental values of freedom and democracy that are the foundation of the post-World War II world order.
The Minnesota rally was another confirmation that support for Ukraine remains an important issue for American society.
Organizers called on everyone to continue to fight for truth, freedom and security around the world.
