Ukrainian Documentary “A Faith Under Siege” Presented in Washington

On May 9, at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., a special preview screening of the documentary A Faith Under Siege was held. The film focuses on the persecution of Christians by russian military forces in temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

This was reported by the official website of the documentary film "A Faith Under Siege".

Organizers welcomed an audience that included religious leaders, community activists, politicians, and media representatives to share firsthand testimonies from pastors, missionaries, and volunteers who endured torture, abductions, and threats for their faith at the hands of russian troops.

Producer Colby Barrett explained that the film exposes “the violent assault by putin’s regime on religious freedom” and showcases the unbreakable spirit of Ukrainian believers. Executive producers are Steven Moore and Anna Shvetsova. Attendees witnessed footage of destroyed churches and heard accounts of both suffering and courage from communities who remain steadfast in their faith.

Broadcast Schedule on CBN News Channel “A Faith Under Siege” will air on CBN News Channel at the following U.S. Eastern times:

  • May 10 at 11:00 PM EDT

  • May 11 at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM EDT

  • May 12 at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM EDT

“We are deeply grateful to CBN News for providing this platform to bring American viewers testimonies of the unspeakable suffering and unwavering faith of Ukrainians,” said Colby Barrett.

The documentary not only reveals the facts of religious persecution but also calls on Christians worldwide to support those on the spiritual front lines—through community screenings and prayers for the preservation of religious freedom in Ukraine.
