On February 4, 2026, the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley will host a guest lecture by prominent Ukrainian journalist and public intellectual Vitaly Portnikov. According to the organizers, the lecture will take place at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, in Chou Hall, Room N370. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run until 5:30 p.m. The lecture will be delivered in Ukrainian, with English subtitles provided for an international audience. A Q&A session will follow the talk.
The event is open to the public. Optional donations can be made in the form of ticket purchases..
“All funds raised during the event will be directed toward medical assistance for Ukrainian defenders and humanitarian support for civilians surviving without electricity,” the organizers emphasize.
Donations will be processed through AI4Good, the event’s official 501(c)(3) partner. The evening is organized with the participation of Economists for Ukraine and partner initiatives.
