Revived Soldiers Ukraine, together with wounded soldiers, attended Easter services in the USA

During Easter, the Revived Soldiers Ukraine team, together with seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers, attended festive services in Chicago, Orlando, and Philadelphia. The defenders, who are undergoing treatment and prosthetics in the USA, joined the liturgies, the consecration of Easter eggs, and festive dinners, and also received support from Ukrainian communities and clergy.

This was reported by the Revived Soldiers Ukraine.

“During these Easter days, our defenders felt that they were not alone. That there is a strong Ukrainian community nearby. That faith is also strength,” the post says.

As reported, in Chicago, the RSU team, together with seriously wounded soldiers, attended a festive Liturgy at St. Joseph the Betrothed Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church and an Easter dinner at the bishop’s house. The community was addressed by servicemen Maksym Korzh and Ihor Yefimenko, who completed treatment and complex prosthetics in the USA and are returning home to Ukraine.

It was also noted that Ihor Yefimenko's life was saved thanks to the joint efforts of the UIC Hospital team of doctors - Yevhen Pavelko, Chandra Khasan, Robert Carroll and Pierre Giulianotti.

According to the organization, special gratitude was expressed in Chicago to Venedikt Alexiychuk - for the invitation to the festive dinner, sincere attention and the opportunity to spend this day together in the warm and blessed atmosphere of Bright Easter.

In particular, in Orlando, servicemen Andriy Pylypchuk, Ivan Holyk and Borys Rachynsky, who are undergoing prosthetics in Florida, attended the Easter Liturgy and a festive dinner at the Ukrainian Catholic Church together with RSU President Irina.

“We express our gratitude to Father Roman Kuzminsky for the invitation, open heart and constant support of our defenders in the process of their recovery and prosthetics,” the post notes.

In Philadelphia, the RSU team, together with seriously wounded soldiers Serhiy Serhiyenko, Ilya Haiduk, Oleksandr Kungurov and Roman Kartsev, attended the Easter Liturgy and the blessing of Easter cakes at the Ukrainian Catholic Archecathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

According to the organization, sincere gratitude was expressed for the invitation to the Liturgy and dinner to His Grace Borys Hudziak, Archbishop-Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia. Revived Soldiers Ukraine emphasized that his constant support, prayer and care for Ukrainian soldiers are extremely important.

“Together – we support, restore and give hope to our heroes,” the organization summarized.
