A charity concert featuring the American Mosaic Choir & Orchestra was held in Washington State, raising funds to support the educational programs of Hebron IT Academy in Ukraine. The event brought together members of the local community, musicians, and friends of Ukraine around the shared goal of supporting young people affected by the consequences of war.

The concert featured the Mosaic Choir & Orchestra, based in Edmonds, near Seattle. The ensemble includes more than 110 vocalists and approximately 30 musicians representing 25 churches and 10 Christian denominations.
A special aspect of the event was that the ensemble organized a charity performance in support of Hebron IT Academy for the third consecutive year. For the choir, this marked an exception to its long-standing approach to charitable partnerships.
“It has been an honor for the Mosaic Choir & Orchestra to hold concerts for three consecutive years to help raise funds for Hebron IT Academy. We do this because we truly believe in the important work that Hebron is doing to support people in Ukraine. Despite all the challenges and hardships caused by the war, Hebron IT Academy continues to give people hope through education, development, and support. All 150 members of the Mosaic Choir & Orchestra highly value the work of Hebron IT Academy and are proud to support its mission. We wholeheartedly encourage everyone who is willing to help Ukraine to join this effort,” said Allan Skoog, Director of the Choir and Orchestra.
During the concert, the musicians performed without music stands or written notes, following one of the ensemble’s unique artistic traditions.
Funds raised during the event will support free educational programs at Hebron IT Academy for young people from vulnerable social groups. The academy provides training for orphans, children deprived of parental care, veterans undergoing professional retraining, and internally displaced persons from frontline and recently liberated territories.
Organizers reported that a new course for veterans and orphans began in Lviv on June 1, while another educational program is scheduled to launch in Kyiv this fall, offering accommodation at Hansen Town in the Boyarka community of Kyiv region.
During the event, Liliia Valikhun, co-founder of HebronSoft and Hebron IT Academy, addressed the audience. She was joined on stage by her daughter Sofia, who thanked concert participants for supporting Ukrainian children.
“The name ‘Mosaic’ sounds symbolic today. People from different churches and traditions are coming together for a good cause—for Ukraine. When an ensemble like this changes its own rules, you feel even more strongly that Ukraine is not alone,” said Liliia Valikhun.
At the conclusion of the event, it was announced that Mosaic Choir & Orchestra plans to continue its partnership with the Ukrainian educational initiative and has already confirmed its participation in the next charity concert, scheduled for May 2027.
Hebron IT Academy is part of an educational ecosystem created by HebronSoft. The academy provides young people with opportunities to acquire modern IT skills, work on practical projects, and gain the experience necessary for future employment and professional development.
According to the organizers, events like this not only support educational initiatives in Ukraine but also help draw international attention to the needs of Ukrainian youth during wartime.
