In Washington, D.C., as part of the annual Around the World - Embassy Open House tour, Ukraine House became a center of cultural diplomacy, introducing more than 4,000 visitors to Ukraine - not only as a country fighting for freedom, but also as a source of deep cultural heritage.

The Ukrainian exposition impressed the guests with a rich program, workshops, performances and an atmosphere of unity.
Visitors had the opportunity to take part in master classes in painting petrykivka, making motanka, and even cooking cabbage rolls from the Ruta restaurant, and then listen to Maria Bohomolova play the bandura. Visitors will also enjoy a performance by the Carpathian Folk Dance Ensemble, taste traditional Ukrainian dishes and sweets, buy souvenirs, visit the children's area, and view numerous exhibitions, including 50 Ukrainian Inventions that Changed the World and Freedom in the Equation.
Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova emphasized that such events are not only cultural diplomacy, but also a way to unite the world around the idea of freedom, dignity and compassion.
"We are grateful to everyone who came, got to know Ukraine and expressed their support. This is also a call to continue - to stay close to Ukraine in the future," Markarova emphasized in her speech.
The NGOs US Ukrainian Activists, United Help Ukraine, Ukraine Aid, artisans, volunteers - all together presented Ukraine as a nation that preserves its identity with dignity and is open to the world.
"United Help Ukraine was honored to participate in Passport DC's event celebrating Ukraine's rich culture, unity and resilience. Our team spoke with hundreds of visitors, shared our mission, and showcased unique Ukrainian products - all in the spirit of community and hope for a better future. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who came and to everyone who supports Ukraine," said United Help Ukraine.
"It was a pleasure to be a part of this event! We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase Ukraine's cultural diversity and raise funds for vital humanitarian projects," added Ukraine Aid.
"It was an absolutely unforgettable day filled with wonderful emotions, community pride and the incredible spirit of Ukraine," summed up the spiritual center of the Ukrainian community at St. Andrew's Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Passport DC is an annual cultural festival in the U.S. capital that showcases the traditions of more than 50 countries. Ukraine is a permanent participant of this diplomatic event.
