The Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN has honored Andriy Dobryansky, Chair of the Ukrainian World Congress Committee on UN Affairs and Communications Director of the Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America, with a state award – the Order of Merit. He received the award for his significant contribution to the promotion of Ukraine and advocacy of Ukrainian interests in the United States and within the United Nations.

“The Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN sincerely congratulates Andriy Dobryansky on being awarded the Order of Merit!”, the post reads.
As reported, the corresponding submission was initiated by the Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Melnyk and supported by the state leadership.
“His consistent and professional work is an important component of the efforts of the Ukrainian community in the USA to support Ukraine, strengthen international solidarity, and convey the truth about Russian aggression to political and public circles,” noted Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.
It was also noted that he is one of the most authoritative representatives of the Ukrainian community in the USA.
“With his active work, Andriy Dobryansky makes an important contribution to the popularization of Ukraine not only among political and public circles in the USA, but also within the United Nations,” the message emphasizes.
According to diplomats, thanks to Andriy Dobryansky’s organizational talent, a number of important actions in support of Ukraine were held in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN in New York, which caused a significant public resonance.
